This 15mm Studio MID49 Baseline 15mm LWS Baseplate for Select Sony & Canon Camerasis a baseplate that sets 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the center of the lens for the Sony FX9, FS7, FS7mkII, Canon C100mkII, C300mkII, C100, C300, C500. It is compatible with standard ARRI dovetails and includes an ARRI-compatible dovetail plate, Arca-Type dovetail, and Baseline Core 15mm LWS. It features a spring-loaded locking knob for top loading onto the included dovetail plate. A center screw slot on Arca-Type Dovetail accepts 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting screws, and a vertical rod hole supports 1/4″-20 lens support posts for adapters like Metabones’s.

This MID49 Baseline Core 15mm LWSis an Arca-type dovetail baseplate that features integrated 15mm LWS rod clamps. The 0″ platform height refers to the distance from the center of the 15mm rods to the bottom of the Arca-type dovetail. It also features a top-loading Arca-type dovetail slot, which enables mounting either from the top or back. Likewise, the bottom of the platform can mount on standard ARRI dovetail rails via a top-loading mechanism or by sliding it on or off from the back.

This Baseline Arca-Type Dovetail from MID49 is a 0.29″ tall Arca-Type standard camera dovetail. It features a center screw slot that accommodates the included 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 captive camera tie-down screws. This slot allows you to adjust the camera forward and back to help balance your camera. The integrated lens support clamp allows you to add a lens support post when working with heavy lenses or lens adapters.

Designed to work with your Baseline 15mm LW Baseplate, this MID49 Baseline ARRI-Compatible Dovetail Mounting Plate provides a thin, lightweight, yet strong mounting plate. Mount the plate on tripods that use either 1/4″-20 or 3/8″-16 tie-down screws. This plate is also compatible with ARRI standard bridgeplates that use either center or offset screw spacing. The plate is machined precisely, and the bottom is relieved, which makes it lighter and reduces flex.
