Bugera BXD15 Overview

Compact, versatile, and fully stage ready, the Ultrabass BXD15 from Bugera is a 1000W solid-state combo bass amplifier with a 15″ Turbosound paper cone. Loaded with a high-voltage MOSFET preamp and passive 3-band Gyrator EQ with a 5-position mid-frequency switch, you can get tubelike tones to cover any style in any environment.

The BXD15 is packed with comprehensive tone control features beyond its versatile EQ, including Ultra Low and Ultra High switches for extended EQ range, a compressor based on a famous studio design, and more. With Dynamizer technology, your voltages are constantly optimized for a fat, punchy tone at any volume level. Thanks to flexible I/OXLR DI output, aux inputs, tuner output, and FX loopand a wedge-shaped cabinet, this amp is comfortable on stages and in studios. Finally, the BXD15 comes with plenty of protections, including an active cooling system with variable fan speed and DC and thermal overload protections.

Studio-Quality Compressor The studio-grade compressor is based on classic and famous studio equipment from the ’70s. This totally transparent and musical compressor design allows your full dynamic range to shine through until your signal reaches the compression threshold, which is indicated by the highly visible status LED.

The compressor increases sustain and gently smoothens signal peaks, which is especially handy when youre laying down funk using a slap-and-pop technique or hammering home your most aggressive metal lines.
