3 Legged Thing Thingy Overview
The Thingy Ultra Plate Camera Platform from 3 Legged Thing attaches to an Ultra Plate to create a customized mount for cameras with long lenses. This combination creates a secure and stable platform for attaching both components to a tripod. The Thingy can be positioned to support a variety of lens and camera combinations where the lens has a lens foot. It reduces stress on lens mounts and prevents unwanted twisting. Additionally, it is precision machined from magnesium alloy with a matte black anodized finish.
