Darkglass Electronics B7K Ultra V2 Overview
Upgraded for perfect tone and control, the Microtubes B7K Ultra from Darkglass Electronics, presented in a limited edition SQUID print finish, sports handy tools for the modern bassist, such as a stereo aux in, user-loadable cabinet-simulation IRs, a stereo 3.5mm headphone output, and a balanced XLR direct output (both with cab simulation). With 4-band EQ control, you can sculpt the ultimate tones.
The EQ control includes two 3-way switches, one for low-mid frequencies and one for high-mid frequencies, providing further refinement of your bass’s sonic character. You get even more control with the Grunt switch, which provides three levels of bass boost, and an Attack switch, which offers you the ability to boost or cut treble content before saturation. Independent Drive control lets you dial in the ideal amount of saturation, while Blend lets you deftly mix your wet and dry signals however you see fit. You also get two separate footswitchesone footswitch for engaging or deactivating the drive circuit and one for bypassing the pedal entirely.

Versatility for Modern Players The ability to alternate between a clean modern sound and obliterating distortion is what distinguishes the B7K Ultra from other Microtubes pedals. It features all the versatility and sonic possibilities from the acclaimed B7K but with more options and controls. 4-Band EQ Control with Selectable Mids
- 12 dB adjustment at 100 Hz
- 12 dB control at 250 Hz, 500, Hz, or 1 kHz
- 12 dB adjustment at 750 Hz, 1.5 kHz, or 3 kHz
- Cut or boost of 12 dB at 5 kHz
- Grunt switch activates three different bass boost levels before the clipping stage
- Attack switch sets the amount of treble content to saturate, with Boost, Flat, and Cut selections
Darkglass Suite Utilizing the desktop version of the Darkglass Suite allows you to load one of the available impulses responses of the library, or add your own custom or third-party impulses to use with your pedal. In addition, you can control the headphone level output.
