Secure your critical data with the red 512GB diskAshur3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Encrypted Portable SSD from iStorage. Supporting three AES 256-bit encryption modes with pending FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification this portable 512GB SSD delivers military-grade protection while providing up to 448 MB/s read and 444 MB/s write speeds.

The wear-resistant backlit keypad supports 8 to 64-digit PINs and features an epoxy coating that protects the keys while hiding their usage. Designed to be OS and host independent, the diskAshur3 works with most USB 3.2 Gen 1 compatible devices using the included USB-C and USB-A cables. A convenient carrying case is included alongside one-year licenses for Nero BackItUp and iStorage DriveSecurity software.

Tamper-Proof Design The diskAshur3 is engineered to provide tamper-proof security. Accessing its components requires physically breaking the enclosure, clearly indicating any tampering attempts. Moreover, all internal parts are shielded with a layer of durable epoxy resin, enhancing protection against physical attacks. Advanced Firmware Protection The firmware complies with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 standards. Additionally, the drive features a secure microprocessor certified to Common Criteria EAL5+, along with a distinctive flash lock mechanism, providing defense against potential firmware attacks.

It also provides robust protection against BadUSB attacks via a secure USB controller firmware protection mechanism. This guarantees the authentication of the USB controller firmware prior to any unlocking attempt.

Brute Force Hack Defence Mechanism If the user PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, it will be deleted. Data will remain on the device but only accessible with the Admin PIN. If the Admin PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, all data is lost forever. The device will need to be reconfigured before it can be re-used. Independent User and Admin PINs The diskAshur3 can be configured with independent user, admin, and one-time recovery PINs, ensuring flexibility without compromising security. No Pre-Set PIN No pre-set admin PIN is provided, and one must be configured before the drive can be used. Self-Destruct PIN Once the self-destruct PIN is entered, the encryption key and all PINs are deleted and all data is rendered as lost forever. Backlit Keypad The backlighting can be turned on or off, making the keys visible in low light conditions. Bootable Feature Install any OS on the diskAshur3 and boot directly from it. Unattended Auto-Lock The drive can be set to automatically lock when idle following a predetermined length of time. Read-Only Mode Restricts write access to the drive, making it impossible to modify the data stored on it. Three Encryption Modes Select between the default AES-XTS 256-bit mode or the AES-ECB 256-bit and AES-CBC 256-bit modes.
