This medium-size All-Weather Resin Clapper Sticks with Grayscale Laminate from Filmsticks are a set of clapsticks that you can mount on your slate/board. The sticks feature a grayscale pattern that helps you to sync picture and audio when shooting double system sound. The sticks easily mount on standard slates, allowing you to switch boards or separate the sticks from your slate when you need to “bang” them shut to make your sync point when there is no room for the sticks and the slate. The grayscale pattern resolves itself when the sticks are closed, providing a visual reference to match the audio of the sticks banging shut. The sticks are made of resin, which makes them usable in all kinds of weather, including rain.
